Fifty Years......WOW.......since this won't happen again guess I'd better not miss it. Looking forward to seeing some old classmates and catching up on the last fifty years.

Steve H.I graduated from Oregon State in the spring of 1968 in Civil Engineering and reported for the draft. Didn't get by the physical...guess they didn't like guys with glasses. I went to work for the Army anyway....in the Corps of Engineers and had a career spanning 34 years......working most of that time in the Civil Works and Military construction arenas....working on lots of interesting projects and with many fine people.
I was married in 1971 to the mother of my two sons, Todd and Jeremy, until 1990. I remarried in the spring of 1999 to my present wife Donna who also has two children, Steven and Teresa. We also have five grandchildren ranging in age from two years to 15 years. We spend our time now helping a few oldsters (older than us), attending grandkids sporting events and recitals, gardening and yard work (mostly Donna), lots of fishing(less catching) and a little hunting(mostly me) and taking care of and enjoying our cabin in the Columbia Gorge. We are not great travelers but are going to make a trip back to Alaska just before the reunion and get to Hawaii every few years. I attended the 85th Anniversary of my grade school, John L. Vestal a few weeks ago and got to visit with a few old friends there and am looking forward to meeting a few more at the events in August.
